Fall, The Best Time To Shoot Landscapes

A best of in Victoria for me has got to be September as I find the month is perhaps the best time of the year to shoot landscape photos, particularly in the early morning or at dusk. With the cooler temperatures and the spectacular lighting when the sun is low in the sky the effects and resulting photos are often simply awesome! I frequently visit the beach looking to the east to catch an awesome sunrise and best of all we don’t have to go out there at 5 AM as the sun is rising a little later in the day. Perhaps even better though is the time around dusk when the sun is low from the west, often illuminating Mt Baker and creating some dramatic colors in the sky… throw in a little hanging mist over some fields or over the water and the scenes are simply spectacular. For some truly awesome pics be sure to catch the full moon later in September, I guarantee total awesomeness!
